While other companies will automate their brush manufacturing for speed, quality control will often go overlooked. At Smith Equipment, we believe quality can never be sacrificed for quantity. The main brush designed for street sweeping can be ordered in a large variety of styles, lengths, and sizes.
We have different sweeper brush core styles offered. Open tube cores are for street sweepers that are usually flange driven. True open tube sweeper brushes have no lugs. Open tubes can have either round or square lugs welded into their recesses. This allows for arbors and mandrels from the street sweeper to make contact with the core and spin the brush. Round or square lugs are specified during the ordering process. Lastly, we can weld a large variety of different drive plates onto each end of the core. This will allow it to be fitted with a variety of commercial street sweepers with brands like Tennant, Superior, and Elgin.
