Wafer Brushes for Any Application
Wafer brushes are perhaps the most dynamic tool in the sweeper brush industry. Wafer brushes are engineered with modular construction which allows them to be easily replaced. Flat wafers are the most common wafer brush and can be made with polypropylene, steel wire, or a combination of both. Convoluted wafer brushes have their inner core rings pressed into a continuous wave which shrinks the diameter slightly. The wave pattern in the bristles helps provide extra sweeping leverage. Convoluted wafers can also be stacked together so that their core rings can turn each other in staggered succession. Flat wafers do not have this capability.
Angled wafers are flat wafers that have had their channel bent at an angle. This causes all of the wafer's bristles to be angled down and allows for a lighter brush to be used with a longer bristle. This particular wafer brush design is ideal for nut and ground produce harvesting. It can also serve as a viable supplement for gutter brooms and blocks.
